What we collect

  • Details you give us through our contact, CV registration and job application forms: your name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile, company, CV and any message you include.
  • Technical information when you use the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected through server logs and any analytics cookies you accept.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and talk to you about roles or hiring.
  • To consider you for positions we are working on, and to keep your details on file for future roles where you have agreed to that.
  • To run, secure and improve this website.

Our legal bases are consent (where you have ticked a box or sent us your CV), our legitimate interests in running a recruitment business, and taking steps towards a contract at your request.

Sharing your data

We only share candidate details with a client with your permission, and normally after we have spoken to you first. We use trusted suppliers to host this website and our email, who process data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep candidate records for up to two years from our last contact with you, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Enquiry records are kept for twelve months.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, or object to our processing of it. To do so, email hello@builtintalent.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
