Modern Slavery Statement
This statement is made in the spirit of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps BUILTIN Talent Ltd takes to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chain.
Our business
BUILTIN Talent is a recruitment business based in Bristol, placing permanent and contract professionals with clients in the UK and Germany. As a recruitment business we are aware that our sector carries a particular responsibility to protect the people we place from exploitation.
Our policy
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and to putting effective controls in place to ensure slavery and trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chain.
What we do
- We verify the identity and right to work of every candidate we place, and we never charge candidates fees for finding work.
- We check that clients and contractors operate lawfully and pay fairly, and we will not work with organisations where we have concerns.
- Our suppliers are limited to professional services and software providers, all of whom are established businesses operating under UK or EU law.
- Everyone who works with us is aware of this statement and knows how to raise a concern. Concerns can be raised in confidence with either director.
Review
This statement is reviewed annually by the directors. Questions can be sent to info@builtintalent.co.uk.
